Book Matt Tarrant Magician: Award-Winning Mentalist and Entertainer
Event organisers who book Matt Tarrant magician secure one of Australia’s most successful up-and-coming magicians and mentalists. Adelaide born and raised, Matt Tarrant left his top-end job at one of Australia’s Top 4 banks at the age of twenty-seven to pursue magic full time, and he hasn’t looked back since. Since first performing to sold-out audiences at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2012, where he also won his first award, Matt continued selling out and winning awards at the festival every year through to 2017, the longest such streak in the festival’s history.
As one of Australia’s most in-demand MCs and entertainers, Matt is widely known to Australian audiences as a contestant on Australian Survivor, where he competed across fifty-one days in Samoa and finished fifth from twenty-four contestants, becoming one of the season’s most popular and likeable competitors. He has since appeared on Australia’s Got Talent as a semi-finalist, further cementing his profile as a mainstream entertainer as well as a corporate performer.
Matt has worked with some of Australia’s biggest companies and brands as a magician and entertainer, appearing across all major television networks and radio stations nationwide, as well as fronting a major advertising campaign for the AFL and the Port Adelaide Football Club, where he serves as an official celebrity ambassador. His stage shows continue to sell out across the country, including entire seasons at both Fringe World in Perth and the Adelaide Fringe, where he has become the festival’s highest-selling solo performer, with more than ten thousand tickets sold in a single month-long season.
Blending sleight-of-hand magic with mind-reading mentalism, Matt delivers a slick, highly interactive show that consistently captivates corporate audiences and brings genuine surprise and delight to conferences, gala dinners and product launches. Based in Adelaide, Matt is available to perform at corporate events across Australia and internationally.
