Born and bred in Adelaide, Will McDonald joined the Nine News team in 2004 and presents Nine Live Adelaide, Adelaide’s 4pm afternoon news bulletin, and Nine News on weekends.

​Will began his journalism career in 2000, moving to Port Lincoln for Southern Cross News. Writing, filming and editing his own stories, it was a brilliant entry into the news industry, and where he honed his skills. A year after landing in Port Lincoln, Will moved to Port Pirie to anchor the local news bulletin.

This put him in good stead to join the Nine News team, where he now reports, produces and presents news stories during the week for Nine Live Adelaide and moves to the news desk at weekends.
