Dr Lynn Arnold AO has been one of South Australia’s leading executives with a distinguished career in the Government and business sectors.
Dr Arnold was Labor Premier of South Australian in the early 90’s and has held many Ministerial Portfolios over an extensive 15 year political career. Areas of expertise include Education ,State Development, Infrastructure and Agriculture.
After Politics Dr Arnold was appointed Chief Executive of World Vision Australia. In 2003 he became World Vision’s Regional Vice President for Asia and the Pacific based in Bangkok. In that role, he oversaw the implementation of more than 1,500 projects aimed at providing health care, education, clean water, shelter and technical expertise to millions of people in Asia.
Dr Arnold’s next major role was CEO of Anglicare SA. He was responsible for overseeing South Australia’s largest non-government agency with over 1500 staff and 1000 volunteers with an annual budget of $100 million. He recently left the post after 4 years at the helm.
In 2004 Dr Lynn Arnold was awarded the Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AO) for services to Government and International aid.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors an Adjunct lecturer at The University of Adelaide and an Adjunct Lecturer St Barnabas Theological College and an Anglican Minister.
