Luke Jacobz is one of Australia’s most-popular actors and TV show host boasting an enviable list of credits including the Logie winning Australian series of The X Factor. The multi-talented, Sydney-based personality has appeared in iconic Australian dramas including McLeod’s Daughters and Home and Away.

Off-screen Luke is widely known as one of Australia’s most proficient and entertaining MC speakers, bringing his natural skill to many major events ranging from race days at Randwick to Carols in the Domain. As a spokesperson and ambassador, Luke has worked with varied brands including Woolworths, Telstra, Ronald McDonald House, SunRice, and Purina.

Luke made a return to acting in much loved Aussie drama series McLeod’s Daughters, as Patrick Brewer, appearing on the show from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, Luke was signed to a six-month recurring role in Home and Away as Angelo Rosetta. A hit with viewers, Luke became a series regular, and in 2010 earnt a Silver Logie nomination for Most Popular Actor.

Outside acting Luke discovered his remarkable dancing talent after being crowned winner in the 2008 series of Dancing With the Stars.

It was announced in 2010, Luke would be bringing his dynamic hosting ability to The X-Factor when the series was revived. The show would become one of the highest rating series ever on Australian TV garnering multiple award nominations and wins with Luke continuing as host for 6 seasons before departing for a 12-month stint in the U.S.

In 2017 Luke would continue travelling back-and-forth to Australia to lead multiple series including Channel 7’s Instant Hotel. In 2019, Luke was sent into the African jungle where he spent a month as a contestant on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here before bringing his hosting talent to another Channel 7 show, The Proposal.

In February 2020 it was revealed Luke’s much-beloved Home and Away character Angelo would be making a surprise return to Summer Bay.
