Samantha Young
Chief Health Officer & Co-Founder, Humn
Clinical Psychologist | Speaker | Culture Change Leader
Samantha Young is a sought-after keynote speaker who speaks straight to the heart of what it means to be human—and to lead—at work. A clinical psychologist, business leader, and co-founder of Humn, the world’s first global psychosocial safety certification and consulting company, Sam brings deep compassion and sharp strategic insight to the challenges facing today’s workplaces.
With dual Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology and Business Administration, Sam has spent over 20 years working at the intersection of mental health, leadership and organisational change. Her career has taken her from the corporate offices of global brands like The Body Shop and Boston Consulting Group to the front lines of schools, emergency services and government departments—all with one mission: to help people thrive and realise their potential.
Sam was the founder and CEO of Human Psychology, one of South Australia’s largest providers of mental health services to workplaces, which was acquired by APM Group in 2023. She now also leads Humn’s global movement to redefine workplace health and embed psychosocial safety into the systems, structures and leadership behaviours of organisations.
Known for her warmth, honesty, and insight, Sam doesn’t just speak to rooms—she speaks to the lived experience of the people in them. Her keynotes inspire, educate and leave people better equipped to lead, care, and create cultures where people thrive.
