Alice Monfries is an award-winning journalist and presenter for the Nine Network in Sydney.
Based in the network’s headquarters in Sydney, Alice covers breaking news and reports live across Australia for the nightly 6pm bulletins, national daytime bulletins and the Today Show.
Alice also presents national news bulletins across the country, including Nine’s Late News, Morning News and Afternoon News, while also filling in on the Today Show News Desk and as Weather Presenter.

A proud South Australian, she formerly presented Adelaide’s Afternoon News where she was named Broadcaster of the Year by the SA Press Club and South Australian Young Journalist of the Year at the SA Media Awards.
Monfries was the network’s correspondent for the incredible Cave rescue in Thailand, covering the international efforts to save 12 young boys and their soccer coach after 18 days trapped underground.
She’s also covered floods, bushfires, royal visits and hosted Channel Nine’s Easter Appeal. Alice has also MC’d many high profile events.
Alice is an ambassador for the Leukaemia Foundation, hosting their annual flagship Light the Night events in Sydney, and for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the RSPCA.
