Jessica Braithwaite lights up the airwaves across Australia with her bubbly TV weather presenting and catchy songwriting. The award-winning broadcaster has a background in meteorology and is the main weather presenter for Adelaide’s flagship 6pm News bulletin.

Jessica is also the co-host of Nine’s home and lifestyle program Building Ideas, as well as host of the Adelaide International tennis via Wide World of Sports and Tennis Australia. Jessica has performed at the Big Day Out, The Ashes, and Carols By Candlelight for 40,000 people. She plays guitar, piano, harmonica and yes, tap dancing percussion – a crowd favourite at live shows! Jessica was crowned the ‘Queen of Christmas’ by The Daily Mail following the launch of her irresistible Christmas release, ‘I Still Get Excited For Christmas’, which debuted at number 5 in the iTunes Rock Charts.Her pop ballad Who You Know made no. 1 on Australia’s AMRAP radio charts. A big supporter of the indie music scene, Jessica has hosted the Australian Independent Music awards with Dylan Lewis since 2020. Jessica hasn’t exactly followed the standard path of a broadcaster. At the age of 20, she moved to Chile to study journalism and photography, penning songs in Spanish and playing at local parties. She later volunteered in South Africa teaching music to kids at a remote orphanage while assisting at a health clinic.
