Description

Dan Aubin leadership speaker sessions come from an acclaimed storyteller, acrobat and leadership coach. He is not your typical keynote speaker. Whether balancing on a chair mid-keynote or challenging audiences to rethink communication, Dan transforms ideas into experiences. His sessions do not just inform. They inspire action and leave a lasting impression. Few speakers bring this level of energy and physicality to the stage.

Dan grew up in a small lake town in Northern Ontario, Canada. After losing his mother at 14, he found strength through movement and performance. This journey took him from elite gymnastics to international circus stages. He relocated to Australia more than 20 years ago. Since then, he has directed and performed with world-class acrobatic companies including Cirkidz and Gravity and Other Myths. He also lectured at Charles Sturt University for seven years. Today, he leads Daring Humans, a leadership and communication consultancy.

Showreel

Dan has a background in elite gymnastics, acting, stunts, circus and physical theatre which fuels his embodied approach to presenting and teaching. His experience ranges from designing corporate leadership programs to stunt doubling for Mark Wahlberg; performing in NBA Stadiums to coaching public speaking. He continues to practice as a handstand acrobat and share his passion for risk and balance with leaders and organisations.

Dan is also someone who has had to find and re-find balance in his life in quite dramatic ways. In his Talks, he shares his stories and the tools that have given him strength, awareness and resilience. His diverse experience in education, performance, business and health, has given him a unique perspective as a person who helps others develop high-performance cultures and consider what it is to be a ’daring human’.

A Career Built on Balance

Dan’s journey has taken him from designing corporate leadership programs to performing in NBA stadiums, from teaching medical educators to facilitating city-wide strategic plans, and from coaching business leaders through change to his ongoing work as a stunt double. At the heart of his approach is balance, not as a static ideal but as an active, practised skill, and he speaks with authenticity about resilience, strength and daring leadership. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dan has called Adelaide home for over twenty years, where he lives on the coast with his family.

Working With Organisations

Beyond the keynote stage, Dan works directly with organisations through Daring Humans on team building and staff wellbeing, strategic planning and alignment, and communication training. He also offers 1:1 and group coaching, presentation coaching, and quarterly check-ins for leaders navigating change. This blend of academic grounding, performance background and hands-on consulting gives Dan a distinctive, practical lens on how communication and creativity drive high-performance cultures.

Dan holds degrees in Communication, English and Drama, giving him the academic grounding to back up the physical, experiential techniques he teaches on stage and in the boardroom alike.

Whether facilitating a leadership summit or coaching an individual executive, Dan’s goal remains constant: to help people communicate with clarity, presence and genuine connection.
