Dr. Tiffany De Sousa Machado

Dr. Tiffany De Sousa Machado, or Dr. Tiff, is a keynote speaker and expert in transformative wellbeing.

With a PhD in business and psychology, she serves as the Head of Wellbeing and Development at drtiff.com.au and The Village Foundation and is a Lecturer and Associate Head of People & Culture at the Adelaide Business School, University of Adelaide.

Whether she is addressing leaders at Australia’s largest organisations and universities, working with women facing complex barriers to employment through her work with the GOGO Foundation, or running her signature ‘Transformative Wellbeing’ program, her approach consistently yields remarkable, transformative results. At a time when record amounts are being invested in workplace wellbeing and many organisations are asking, “Why isn’t it working?” Dr. Tiff offers a solution.

Most wellbeing programs miss a crucial element—a focus on self- directed, individualised wellbeing. Self-directed wellbeing means taking the reins of your own wellbeing, rather than just following a prescribed set of instructions. It’s not about pretending to be something you’re not; it’s about making meaningful changes, getting real about who you are, and engaging with that knowledge powerfully.

Dr. Tiff partners with organisations to equip their people with the tools to unlock their wellbeing, so they can harness their potential. And it works. Recognised as a 2022 Westpac Social Change Fellow and a 2017 Westpac Future Leader, Dr. Tiff is highly regarded for her impactful work.
