A bold innovator and systems thinker, Felix pioneered a revolutionary food fortification technology and sustainable business model tailored for the world’s most vulnerable populations.

He led the design and engineering of Sanku’s award-winning Dosifier, a smart fortification device selected by TIME Magazine as one of its Inventions of the Year in 2019. This simple but powerful technology enables small, rural millers to fortify flour with life-saving nutrients—without raising costs for consumers.

Today, Sanku partners with over 1,500 flour mills and reaches more than 25 million people across East Africa with nutritious food—scaling rapidly toward an ambitious goal to protect 100 million people from malnutrition by 2030.

Felix is a Mulago Fellow and a Rolex Laureate, celebrated not just for his technical ingenuity but for his moral clarity and relentless drive to ensure that every person—regardless of geography or income—has access to the fundamental right of nutrition.

Born in Ibiza, Spain, he holds a BA in Geology from Oberlin College, and remains a powerful voice on the global stage for health equity and innovation in development.
